I think the bet should be nulled if Vindicator is taken out because of rain delays. You could argue that I lose if that happens, but I don't think that's really in keeping with the spirit of the bet.
One of the reasons I took the bet is because of that very possibility, among other things that could happen in bad weather, i.e., injury, wet field costing the defense a step or two, etc.
