I don't think that hurt him at all. Hit the bottom of his foot.

Which means he's got a stress fracture and will be out for 2.3 years.  :hang:

It definitely gets tiring after a while, especially when all they are doing is losing.

These threads used to be awesome. I don't know what happened. We were losing a lot back then, too.

Yeah, but that was just the beginning.  A year and a half of deflating losses took a lot out of us I guess.

Also, the threads are so predictable now.  That is the main reason I stay out.

definitely. there's only so much that one can take. '07 was encouraging and then we have regressed two years in a row now.

here is where Lincecum will breeze through our order. Once you get past Dukes it's smooth sailing.

It looks like the bottom of the lineup isn't smooth sailing after all.  Make the water choppy boys!

Damn it Stammen

I was about to complain about it, but it can't be easy to get a bunt down against this dude.

Keep working the count. Need to get Lincecum out of the game after 6 innings.

this umpire has a completely different strike zone for Tim as opposed to Stammen. predictable

yep, I've seen it happen frequently to pitchers trying to bunt off of Lincecum.

sheet. 0/3 with RISP so far.

at least we have made him throw 44 pitches through 2 IP.

Alright, i'm liking the approach.  We need to start being more aggressive on the bases.

But Guzman grounds out :(

Stammen got that run back, he needs to start going after guys.  Lincecum at 44 pitches after 2.
