0-for-2 today :?
he's playing good defense and is hitting the ball hard. I'd rather have him out there than Guzman who was swinging at everything and committing errors routinely on defense.

Kearns has a better arm. I know you're moonstruck by the big stud, but come up for air now and again.

Lannan can help himself by learning to pick guys off on that move. Utley's jump was early and lefties should be able to take advantage of that

Lannan just can't get the third outs of innings today.

+1/this.  he was pretty damn good.  made two mistakes paid for it.  then hernandez didn't help him out.  we should be down 1 right now and lannan probably could've gone into the 6th.  thanks '360' you p.o.s.

By far Moyer's best start of the season.

Nats should be ashamed.

Moyer is a good pitcher.

Good pitching beats good hitting every time.

Stupid ass shift.

Even when he smashes it, they're there to catch it.

A good pitcher that had a 7.42 ERA prior to this game. Everyone had been bashing him around this year.

Good pitching dominates poorly prepared, poorly managed hitting every time.

QFT. Entering today, batters were hitting .342 against him. Only one NL starter had allowed a higher average, and that was Ricky Nolasco, who's now with Class AAA New Orleans. Moyer had been tossing BP all year.

This year, hitters facing Moyer for the third time are 25-for-61 (.410) with a .721 SLG.

He's pitching him like every day.

Yet he's still in the major leagues. Almost like he is considered a major league pitcher.

He should have retired after last year. The Phillies were very foolish to re-sign him for two years.

Don't pay any attention to this game. Moyer is a mediocre at this point in his career.. As we see time and time again, opposing players' numbers against the Nats can be thrown out the window because they mean very little.

Ok if Manny wants to use Bergman as a 1 inning guy-who's warming up?

Why has Beimel only made 1 appearance in the last 7 days?

Last 7 days how many appearances for Villone might be the answer
