I'm seriously going to start deleting posts if you people don't stop arguing about who is more to blame for these losses.  Take it to another thread if you must.

That's appropriate debate.

the bullpen and offense share equal blame.

a shame because the young starters are kicking ass.

I disagree. There was a time not long ago when we blamed the bullpen entirely, rightly so, because the offense scored enough runs to win and the bullpen sucked ass and lost the games. Now the opposite is the case so the offense should be the ones to blame as they have been the main culprits.

Joel pitched very well, it's very en-coor-adge-ing that he can be our closer again, and this guys are working hard at the plate.

The O's Fans have taken over the ballpark.

I see no reason why someone would want to go attend a Nats game at this point. It is a guaranteed loss and the opposing team's fans greatly outnumber Nationals fans.

That's why I haven't been to any, unlike a lot of people in the LAC camp :stir:

The BP is still taking the loss on all these games though too. I believe they have a collective 2-17 record on the season now.

But yeah the offense is very deserving of blame too. But if you look at our lineups the last few nights it doesn't surprise you that we aren't scoring. Bard? Maxwell? These guys were in AAA a few weeks ago. Harris should not be starting everyday.

The only reason to watch is for the stud young starters and Zimmerman. that's pretty much it.

sportsfan, so you're saying that because a member of the bullpen is credited with the loss it's their fault?

Yes. Although Villone deserved the loss tonight, not crappy Tavarez.

Both are minor league trash though.

This team is cursed or something. So unbelievably frustrating. They hit well for a month and half while the pitching sucks and now in the last few weeks the pitching has been improved but the offense has been non-existent.

Like I predicted, he's the best reliever on the team right now. not even close.

I'll have to remember this the next time Lannan is credited with a loss and you blame someone else for it.

If I had to pick one pitcher out of the pen to come in and pitch a scoreless inning it would be Bergmann. I trust him the most out of any of them.

I just hope he gets a chance to prove himself and not send him right back down.

Clippard would likely be our 2nd best reliever if they called him up.
