94.3 FM will be airing the Birds' radio broadcast of the game. So pathetic that they are on an FM station in Northern Virginia while the Nats who are much closer are only an AM station that you can hear only around D.C.

The Nats are available in Richmond on 950 AM.

So its not like they're only available around the state on AM around DC.

In Northern Virginia, the Nats' prime audience, you can't pick up much of the AM station at all. pathetic

There's rebroadcasts from Leesburg that you might be able to pick up in PWC.

A 60 watt lightbulb is pumping out more power than that Leesburg station.

Is Nieves injured? ugh. Our lineup is starting to look like past years' lineups again. Belliard batting 6th and Bard batting 7th... :?

Willingham needs to heat up so that Dunn can see some better pitches.  I don't like Maxwell in the 8-spot but oh well.

Surprisingly to me, BP's Prospectus Hit List does not have the Nats ranked dead last.  THis is a computer model that ranks teams 1 through 30 based on weighting a lot of stuff, don't ask me for the details.  But due to the series I thought it might be entertaining.  And perhaps it will even draw the ire of our token White Sox fan.

Evidently, he's been benched for allowing Hanrahan's wild pitch to get past him in Pirates g. 3.     :?

both teams are reeling, but it should be intense nonetheless.

LET'S GO NATS!!!

p.s.- i would just like to point out that Zimmerman is a far better "face of the franchise" than Markakis.

It's for calling slider after slider after slider after slider.  Sitting in the dugout looking all stoic while your pitcher and catcher are off in the slider twilight zone without even a visit to knock some sense into them should be grounds enough for dismissal.

Tour of the Nats clubhouse on Nats Xtra.  Pretty neat.

I swear Willingham reminds me of some actor, I just can't think of who.

Nothing wrong with it, I'm a fan myself.  I just wouldn't have expected that to be on in the Nats clubhouse.

Wait, if we sweep the BlO's, we could be almost out of the "Worst team in the major's" spot.  That would be great to finally be the second worst team instead of the worst.

Their pitching is almost as bad as ours.  Ought to be a lot of runs scored this weekend.

They showed Dunn watching the History Channel in the clubhouse, in a Willie Harris tour.

I picked up Josh Willingham off waivers for a SPOT start, since I have no spare outfielders.  I dropped former Nat Marlon Byrd, who's been filling in for Texas' Josh Hamilton, returning from injury tonight.

Baltimore LEADS MLB in HOME RUNS ALLOWED, and have allowed the MOST RUNS scored in MLB, 1 more than Washington.  The Oreos also give up a lot of SB's, and Willingham stole 9 in 2008, as well as hitting a lot of HRs lately.
  :koolaid:
I need home runs and RBIs and SBs for my fantasy team, which is now tied 5-5.  I should nail 3 of 5 pitching categories, and Runs scored handily.  GO Guzman & Willingham (and Aubrey Huff, sorry).
