You're an idiot.  A bloop single could easily turn into a double for Dukes.  Hence, extra base hits mean nothing when talking about raw power.

How many times does that happen in a season, realistically?  Once?

You're retarded.

Bullcrap.  That happens once every blue moon.

Once a blue moon?  Are you retarded.  How about a gapper that gets cut off deep in right center?  Hammer has no chance for a double on that.  Are you saying that happens once in a blue moon?

Ah relax, that was at sportsfan, not you.  And since I know sportsfan is dead serious and never going to change his tune, it doesn't matter anyway.

Yes.  Typically it only happens in a no-doubles defense which Dukes would still get a single on.

Retard.

There is scant difference between the amount of times Dukes is able to stretch a single into a double and the amount of times that happens with Willingham on balls with similar trajectories/defensive plays.

That's more applicable when talking about the difference between doubles and triples.

Do you have any empirical data to actually support this notion that there is some discernible difference or are you just being a blowhard? (wait, I think I know the answer to that...)

Stammen great through 6, tired in the 7th. 5-4 Nats, 2 scoreless by Tavarez.
