only problem is that zimm won't go more than 5 (6 at best).

wow bulldog has really settled down.  way to go JZ!!!

c'mon nats let's salvage the series against these bastards!

for as much crap as we give this team (deservedly) i'm so excited for the future of three current starters in our rotation: martis (who has been our best pitcher), lannan (who is steady 6 innings crafty guy) and zimmermann (who has shown flashes of being a stud #2).

he's thrown 71 ater 3. in the 4th he faces Feliz, Ruiz and the pitcher's spot (prob a ph) if he can go 1,2,3 in 15 pitches, he has a chance to make it thru 5.

Guess not. He didn't count on spazzo Nieves.

Who "12 years in the pro ball" Nieves? It's inexcusable.

I bet NatsAddict doesn't like the way today's Marlins game is going.

This is why we need someone like Bergmann up here who can give us two or three innings of relief.

cant keep on saying that he got a good inning here or there and therefore he's a good pitcher - this was a terrible inning. again. bad first - bad fourth.

All his runs have been given up with two outs. That's ridiculous.

Glad he got out of it there. Thought the inning would never end.

Jimmy Rollins has stunk so badly this season that he's been sitting on my fantasy team bench.  But because the Nationals have NO pitching coach and NO manager, I started him:
2 for 3, 1 run scored, RBI single, PLUS a stolen base.

Now a tie game.
Nacionales 5
fillies 5
