Anyone think the Nats would be a better team if they were in he American League?

Not with this pitching.

Adam Dunn would be a great DH. But there'd be no pitcher to pitch to...

Less plate John.  It's 1-2.

Don't assume an outfield fly is going to be caught, Bob.

A three run lead isn't likely to hold.  :?

Imagine being in the AL-East like the Balimore Oreos.  We'd be constantly battling the huge payrolls of the Yankees and Red Sox, and Tampa Bay or Toronto alternate being good now and then.  A hopeless situation.

The NL East stinks - with decent pitching, we should win the division.  And the only way that changes is by firing Acta and St. Claire.

Oh great.  Now Mock can come in and do what he does best: let inherited runners score.

Does Lannan always let runs score with two outs?

Lannan reminds of Redding
when Redding lost it everything was up
when Lannan loses it is center of plate to righies or inside to lefties

How can the fans see he really losing it and coach staff not react quicker
At least go out there and talk to him (let Bullpen warm up more)

Nice job by Villone.  Manny should not have taken Lannan out against Ruiz.
