It's getting a fair amount of mention. Even the local media that covers the Nats less in many ways has picked up on it - and not just the sports news outlets.

Still, it may be a good streak and is certainly helping the offense, but it is not like he is anywhere close to challenging the record.

They've been giving it pretty good coverage on BBTM and Inside Pitch on XM-175 for a few days now.  Scott Graham mentioned that it will get a lot of play if he makes it to 30.  I guess I'll hear a lot tomorrow.

Therefore, we should always go with the loser, not the winner.                   :icon_mrgreen:
So Cabrera's going to do the GDTs?

Lost all faith in JZ.

Why? He was pitching pretty well around the edges and then ended up giving in to Winn. He'll be fine. Just needs to take his lumps.

Zimmermann should have challenged Molina instead of facing a hot Randy Winn. He leaves way too many balls over the plate.

Kearns blows. 3-0 count turns into an out.

This one is over.  Cain is a stud.  JZ is floundering.  Not the pitcher that I thought he was.

Cain should go 9 innings today easily.

JZ has to pitch better. Being a rookie is no excuse. We can't afford to get in these large holes every freaking game.

At least Cain is already up to 33 pitches.  Just work the count on him.

Dude.  :?
what? He's capable of being far better than he has shown so far. Needs to show better poise and stop melting down in key situations.

There was no excuse to give up those 2 runs in the first. Let's hope he shuts them out the rest of the night.
