I'm at a loss for words.  I really just don't know what there is to say that hasn't already been said.

Just say that Dusty Baker is managing the Giants.

The performance of our offense does absolutely to raise the level of play of our pitchers.  Do the pitchers even watch our hitters?

This is almost the 2000 Ravens kind of thing, in reverse.

nothing is routine-natured until the ball is in our outfielder's glove, Bob.

Giving up one solo homer isn't the end of the world. Especially when you had a two run lead.

No but it's that much closer to a soul-crushing game-tying/winning homer in the bottom of the 9th :(

I would totally agree if that had been the 9th but we still have one more inning and therefore the chance for that lightning to strike twice.

True, but they better get that run back in the top of the 9th.  The term 'Insurance run' REALLY means something with this bullpen.

It would be sweet to get five or six more runs, Bob.
