what? He's capable of being far better than he has shown so far. Needs to show better poise and stop melting down in key situations.

There was no excuse to give up those 2 runs in the first. Let's hope he shuts them out the rest of the night.

That will happen with young hurlers. It's part of the process. It's not like he's been terrible. Besides, this is what you wanted to so be patient for once.

good hook. I agree with Dibble. got to change the eye level of the opposing hitters.

About two weeks ago I had the old guitar that my wife bought ten years ago restrung and decided to give it a go.  Dod some research and I am happy to say that I think i have the progression down pat for Jimmy Buffett's "Tin Cup Chalice."  Quite a feat I think for a person who never really played any guitar before....

The kid has talent - just very little experience. If he can remain mentally strong and continue to gain experience and make adjustments, he will be fine.

Why are they bunting with no one on first?  Why was he running when he was already in scoring position???

well that sucks. Was it a bad bunt/hit or did Nieves just run like an idiot?

Only 7ABs in April was like being on the DL. He was batting .267 in May coming into this game. Too bad JZ didn't get down a very good bunt. Squandered opportunity.

It's my wife's favorite Buffett song.  Maybe I will get lucky!
