i laugh at all of you fools who didn't think Zimmerman was worthy of being the face.

I laugh at you if you think being medicore for 2 seasons was someone worth a title like that. If he continues what hes doing these past two months, hes obvious for it.

Should I even dare get my hopes up and dream of a comeback? My heart can't take a loss after such a big swing from down to hope after the last two nights.

This offense is really, really nice.  I love it this year.  No more of that "we can't hit good pitchers" bullcrap.  No more sucking off the opposing starter in the post-game presser.  No more getting shut out twice a week.

Now, about that pitching staff... :?

Why does anyone think firing Manny Acta will help anything?  The same people who put this mess of a team together, the same people who signed Daniel Cabrera, would be finding the replacement.  How can you possibly see that turning out well?

should be winning right now if it wasn't for Willingham.

Would be also if not for Cabrera and Kensing.

WOULD DIBBLE STFU!!!! BLAME WILLINGHAM.

Willingham didn't walk in a few dozen runs including the freaking pitcher and otherwise generally suck so bad he should be in low-A. Willingham hurt us bad, but as others have said... You have a pitcher who can pitch and we'd be poised to retake the lead right now despite Willingham.

he was never mediocre. you don't know what you are talking about.

right now he's one of the best hitters/fielders in all of baseball.

LOL AGAIN.  bowden was the one that signed cabrera.  so no blame for him, huh?  oh and nieves bat has really done wonders tonight.  i agree cabrera needs to go but so does olsen, hanrahan, kensing, nieves, cintron, and about everyone in our pen cept for beimel.

WE'D BE UP 4-3 RIGHT NOW IF IT WASN'T FOR WILLINGHAM'S INEXCUSABLE ERROR. CASE CLOSED.

You're really gonna call a current Nats fan a fairweather fan?  That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time.

we're in agreement. nothing to argue about here. this pitching staff is pathetic.

Willingham just missed a hanging slider

I laugh when people are blaming Willingham.

Cabrera has to get out of that inning after that.

He can't break down like a child and walk four straight.
