Rizzo has handled this entire team/roster so poorly.
Willingham should have either been dealt or allowed to play everyday. Giving him a few spot starts a week does nothing for Josh Willingham or the Washington Nationals.
Has it ever occurred to you, even for a second, that he may have tried but no one wants him?
