Well, was hoping to see Dunn bat but I'm off to enjoy Ironman, hopefully I can check in to a 6 run lead in about 2 hours

Looks like Lannan did such a craptacular job last night that they're making him hold the radar gun behind the plate.

The Nats are 0-15 when they take a strike on the first pitch.

That's awesome! You just saved me an evening!

oh snap, please do tell.  had no idea there was an issue last year.  interesting.

Yeah, basically everyone was breathing fire telling me to stop making the Gamedays because coincidentally there was a little streak going of me losing Gameday threads at the beginning of the year, just like this year.

dude, you lost like 20 games in a row of threads that you made.

and when someone else made the thread every once in a while we won.

N2P and sportsfan were all over your case.

Yeah, I know.  It was definitely a very unlikely coincidence, and one that I would have found funny if sportsfan and n2p weren't breathing fire over it.  But yeah, all water under the bridge :)

He looked at 3 pretty good pitches without even a swing and Manny looks like he's already deflated.

that's why manny has to get fired. just for the fact that he's deflated, which is not good for the team.
