Faber looked great.  Swanson/Semerzier was a fantastic fight.  Koch with a vicious head kick finisher.  The WEC guys should be enough to keep UFC PPVs from being complete stinkers from now on.

Sportscenter showing the weigh in between a politician midget and a known cheater.  Quality sport right there.

Pacquiao putting in work on Margarito, since Mayweather is too scared to fight him.

The German UFC crowd tonight may have been the most ignorant "fight fans" I've heard at a UFC event in quite some time.  Every one of those fights was good, technical, strategic and featured a variety of offense and defense.  The blithering idiots just booed any time it wasn't two morons swinging blindly at each other.

I agree with you, but I don't think they should have made this a PPV event. Too many unranked fighters.

I thought there were three PPV quality fights, Siver gives a hometown fight, and one main event fight was cancelled due to illness.  There was plenty of quality and it was free here.  Just a horrible, uneducated crowd.  They seemed like a tough man contest crowd.

Oberhausen

I don't know anything about Oberhausen, but Dusseldorf is really nice and fancy, and Essen has a university. It might well be like the  Dallas of Germany.

Nice fight between Garcia/Phan.  Gotta love the addition of the WEC guys to UFC.

And then there are the judges.

Thiago Alves fought like a champion tonight. What a great fight. Howard's leg is going to be freaked up for weeks.

Yep.  Pretty solid card.  I am starting to get tired of GSP going for the 5 round win instead of finishing clearly inferior fighters.

Anthony Pettis with the most amazing thing I've ever seen in a real fight.  The last fight ever for WEC and with a minute to go he runs the wall and lands a near knockout kick.  Watch/DVR the replay just to see this (show ran over by 15+ minutes).

Yes. You can see his foot and calf move when he makes contact.

Great night for UFC 126 even if the biggest assplow in the sport won the main event.

How insane was the end of that Mayweather-Ortiz fight?! Larry Merchant is the man.

If I was 50 years younger, I'd kick your ass! The smile after that was priceless.

What an insane ending man. I'd say it was fixed. It probably wasn't but you cannot explain the bizarre circumstances as well as the ridiculous responses by both fighters. Mayweather won but he gave the biggest douche bag response ever while Ortiz headbutted and lost and had a smile on his face the entire time. WTF. I mean it looked like horrible acting by both fighters.

Any fight involving Mayweather is a farce and is probably fixed. One of the all-time great douchebags.
