I wonder if Wil Cordero, Carlos Baerga and Vinny Castilla are looking for a job...maybe they will take their old ones back?  Naaah...never mind, they would laugh at us.

Dunn's hitting great but I don't even know why we got him because it makes no difference in the standings since the rest of the team is so crappy. I'd trade him for a great package right now while he is at peak value.

Yeah we can use a few more minor leaguers.  :?

The Caps better score here because the refs will give NY a power play before this period is over to even things out.

This game is once again on Manny.  He puts his hombre Fat Ronnie at lead off.  What a joke.  Fat Ronnie is the slowest guy in the majors.

Dibble just savaging the pitching, and rightfully so. It's a disgrace.

Bergmann and Rivera pitched scoreless innings!  Maybe that's what it takes for us to have a solid bullpen, being down by 5 runs.  Pressure-free pitching!

That homerun was ridiculous. That's a beer league softball league hack. The Phillies know the Nats are done, so they can just stand there looking for one pitching and hack. Ibanez seems to have the breaking balls timed like BP.

Saul Rivera has given up 3 HRs already this year which matches the amount he gave up in 84 innings all of last year.

Rivera needs to be released. Hanrahan needs to be put out of his misery as well.

It is amazing how many pitchers struggle or get hurt after the WBC. Joel has always been a spaz, but this is the worst Rivera has ever been. It is hard to imagine the WBC having such a negative impact, but so many of the pitchers really seem to struggle.

Watching these bums on the mound, pisses me off even more at the Lerners.  Rivera should have cut loose in the offseason and replaced by somebody adequate.  Good is too much to hope for!

And Hanrahan should have been our 3rd or 4th option for closer, not the first!

Trade Dunn and NJ for prospects, NOW.

what's the freaking point in keeping them here any longer? their values are as high as they will ever be.

wow. who didn't see this game coming? i'm telling ya, there's no way this team recovers from last night's disaster. this was the most boring and brutal game of the year, and many more are on the horizon.
