Is there anyone in our system or who can sign to the pen? We seriously can't deal with this all year can we?

There is not one single guy I would give the ball to in complete confidence that is on the Nationals or in their system.

What's so insane to me is that it was predictable the moment Joel came in. It is bad enough when you are concerned about a closer, but when you expect it to happen, it's crazy.

It is just unbelievably unfair to the guys working on this team to pull this BS so many times.

They might as well intentionally walk Zim here.

No one fears Cintron.

I've lost all enthusiasm. I don't even want to watch this team anymore. it hurts too much.

the ownership and on down to the front office and manager, this team just doesn't give a freak.

yeah it is. it's absolutely unfair. like I said this is the type of loss that ruins seasons (not that this season wasn't ruined already). they will never recover from this one.

why would Manny put in a struggling closer with the expectation of him getting out of a jam in the 8th and then pitch a scoreless 9th? I don't freaking understand!!
