Man the Mets announcers are making stupid excuses. It's hard to sweep, it's a psychological motivator for the losing team, blah blah blah.

They repeated the Ralph Nader quote about the Nats - meaning they are the only people who listened the first time.

I'd like to see a rotation where Lannan doesn't have to be our front end guy.  I think he'd be much better served in the middle of the rotation instead of at the front.

That is where he belongs and I think he will thrive as a 3rd or 4th guy in the rotation, especially if you have a guy like Zimmermann to turn to every 5th day for the win.  It will take a lot of pressure off all the guys to have JZ in the rotation.
