Mets fans want Perez's head, can't believe they signed him to that contract

it shouldn't be too surprising considering the 4 year deal they gave Luis Castillo prior to last year

just posted on the minor league thread, i have a good feeling about marrero.  a .280 avg/25-30 HR/35-40 2B/80 RBIs.  won't get on base as much as nick, but more pop.

Yes!!  We need more runs, I still don't feel comfortable unless JZ can take this game all the way.

what a great day to be a nats fan - for a change - big league boys are up 7-1.  balester is mowin 'em down (6 ip, 4 h, 0 er, 2 bb, 3 k), marrero is beasting it.

I have a feeling Marrero will challenge for a .300 avg this season.  He is a professional hitter.

I would be surprised if he went more than 5. his pitch count is pretty high.

nice swipe, JMAX!

Definitely, I proposed an OF of Dunn-Maxwell-Dukes earlier and stand by it.

Maxwell can play leadoff and center, solving two problems.
