BS. He couldn't get behind it and stopping and playing it off the wall would have done nothing. OFers have a split second to make a decision on that play. He was a half a step from being able to make that catch. If he would have stopped running and simply let it roll to the corner of the wall, people would be nagging that he was loafing. He go up and got the ball in time to have a play on the pitcher running.

And if he catches the ball, he doesn't either. And if the ball isn't touched, it likely rolls around in the corner and Dunn has to reverse ground to chase it. Players are not idiots for making a decision to dive for a ball like that.
