If we don't knock this run in, I will donate $20 to a charity for the Florida Marlins

Walk him, Volstad Nunez.  Everybody knows "sacks juiced" with 1 out is like Kryptonite to the Nats!

Just a friendly reminder.

if we can get a healthy Guzman leading off with NJ behind him, that can lead to good things down the road.

With Wily Mo last year, we had entire homestands where the LFer didn't get on 5 times.

BTW why would you chase the runner, just block the freaking plate

Exactly!  Flores was VERY lucky.  I was at a game in Memorial Stadium in '89 or '90 with an identical situation, the O's had a real speedy outfielder who got a 'cup of coffee' in the show, last name was Jefferson.  He juked to the catcher's right, he went for the fake, and he got around him on his left side and was safe.

1 run lead is basically a tie game for us though.
