Man, I love Nick Johnson but you have to factor in his health...Uggla can give you 525+ AB's every year...if I had to choose between the 2 of them I take Uggla.
No you don't. Not when you're comaparing a one game lineup.  If we were comparing the whole season, you might be on to something, but if we're looking strictly at today's lineup, it's NJ over Uggla every time.

Fair enough...I was looking bigger picture....still looking at one game though it may be a wash. Nick will get on base, but Uggla may give you that bomb.....

Interesting debate either way...

You are as equally late as you are lost.

We'll be seeing the new road jerseys in action today. I wonder how they will look with the teal and orange background of Dolphin Stadium.

Nope, under the MLB scoreboard you can click "gameday"....

They have had that for sometime now.  This year though they introduced some new features (i.e. out pitches, hot spots in strike zone) which are pretty cool, but they are going to start charging for those features after April 19th.  Which sucks.

I am not 100% positive, but I saw something last night when I first clicked on the ATL-PHI gameday that said you would have to purchase a subscription to get the advanced features post APR 17th.  I haven't been able to find any further info on it, though.

Hmmm, thanks for the heads up...wonder what they consider the advanced features? I may be able to live without them...

Yeah, they aren't working right now.  And they probably won't be too reliable until a few games have been played.  I wouldn't pay for them, but they are definitely some cool additions.  I hope MLB.com reconsiders charging to use them.

They may reconsider if enough people arent paying for them? Either way, I can live with the free stuff =)

There you go. Go with that nickname this season.
No kidding. I will if he doesn't. Johnny Be Good!

This is an insane amount of posts for a game that hasn't started yet. We're all so antsy for the season to finally begin ...  :D
