Unfortunately, ST means nothing, which is why people have unrealistic expectations for pitching and certain hitters will do better than what they have shown they can do.
Last year the star of our spring training team was Pete Orr...

Lannan, stop freakING NIBBLING YOU wussy

I'm so sick of Nationals' pitchers nibbling

Just fire St. Claire's ass already.

He won't correct mechanical flaws that lead to injury.  Okay, I understand that you don't want to freak with what works for a guy.

BUT HE WON'T TEACH OUR freakING PITCHERS TO THROW STRIKES WITH MORE CONSISTENCY

THERE IS A DOCUMENTED CORRELATION BETWEEN FIRST-PITCH STRIKES AND OUTS, YOU DUMBfreak

No problem.  I'll talk up MLB.TV all day, can't say enough about how great it's been for a Nats fan in Vermont.

I live in MA, Nats fans in New England unite!

Ears is up with a chance to knock in a run. Probably hit a weak grounder to second.

Apparently the ONLY way that the Nationals can score a run is DURING A DEBBI TAYLOR INTERVIEW.  [Sigh]... so we are going to HAVE to have her interview someone, every inning during play, for the REST OF THE GAME....

Nationales: 1
Marlins: Dont Ask

I wouldn't say they mean "absolutely nothing." I think there are some things you can gather from ST.

Alright, well I mean if you are referring to last year then yes.  But I've been living in the DC area almost my whole life, witnessed the Redskins win the super bowl in 1992, witnessed the Wizards in the playoffs the last few years, and saw DC United win 4 MLS Cups.  It is short sighted to say that DC teams suck, just recently.  It is a relatively large market, our teams will be back on top soon.

I too, have lived in the DC area my whole life ( 21 years)... All I have to show for it is a couple MLS titles, a stanley cup APPEARANCE by the caps, and a couple other lame playoff appearances.

I want a major championship, DAMNIT!!!
