Awesome.  Now all i need is for sportsfan to chime in with "well this game is !@#**#!@#*!@(# over" and I can go ahead and lock up the forum and call it a season.

Jesus people

I'm not saying Dunn isn't the best hitter, and possibly the most valuable player on the team.  However, he really is a bad fielder, and that play by Dunn cost us a run.

Is anyone actually watching the game and can say without doubt that some other LF would have made a play on that, or are you all just jumping on the bandwagon?

Consistency is our strongest suit.

Didn't see the top of the first because MLB.TV was acting up.  How'd it go down?

Did you actually see the play and are confident that some other LF would have made it?

As you like to say: SUCK IT UP

Just commenting on some bad play. Doesn't mean I have given up. Nice try though.

The homeristic Marlins announcers said it was a play Dunn should easily have made.

He got a bad jump on the ball, and wasn't quick to it.  I am confident that an average/slightly above average LFer would have caught it, yes.

An average LFer probably wouldn't have made the play, but would have made it a lot closer than Dunn did.

I love me some Adam Dunn.  I wasn't being sportsfanesque and say that the season is lost because Dunn is fielding, just saying he freaked up that one.  Not a big reach if you saw the play.

Oh well.  Personally I'm less interested in how much Dunn does or doesn't suck defensively.  If the team as a whole is anywhere near as bad as last year, Dunn's performance one way or the other will merely be a footnote to the entire sports world's article entitled "SEE WE TOLD YOU THE NATIONALS SUCKED BALLS, HAHAHAHA!!!"

We still got 7 innings to go...

I'm trying to keep it optimistic here, instead of the normal doom and gloom
