If so, it will be the first time the Fish have every swept the Braves in a 3-game series in Atlanta.

Oh, and not having Larry Jones in the lineup probably helped.

Lawrence is so obnoxious.

I can't stand the Phillies, but I don't believe in the Mets rights to exist.  After rooting for the Phillies the past two years to keep the Mets out, I had to eat ramps for about a week to get the nasty taste out of my mouth.
I know how you feel.

I was pulling for the Phillies last year, again, just because I thought it would be funny if the Mets had some deja vu.

Well, I soon felt like throwing up when I realized the Phillies had made the World Series.

Yunel Escobar may miss some time during the Braves series against us   Chipper will probably be back by then damnit.

Lidge just gave up 4 runs in the 9th against the Pads for his first blown save in a long time.

If you look at the standings, in April the whole MLB is a joke.  I was watching SportsCenter earlier today.  They had Toronto, KC, and I forgot who in the West, maybe Texas, logos up.  They kidded about "Is this a joke?"  Apparently not!  Each are leading their division.  Do you seriously think its going to end up that way in Sept?

Well, those of us who are fans of teams in the AL Central kept saying that about the Tigers in 2006.

Exactly, and there's no way that the Royals' pitching stays that way.  Greinke can be good, but there's nowhere to go but down for him.

I think the Blue Jays and Mariners can probably contend.  The Blue Jays might be even better once Marcum  and McGowan return from injury.

Dude get over it.  The Fish are not a bad team.  And the Pirates have been doing quite well.  We suck no matter how you slice it, so it doesn't really matter who we suck against.

no, it just pisses me off because the Marlins should be losing their 4th straight game tonight and their Cinderella story would already be over.

they aren't a good team. I've seen enough of them the last 3 days to determine that. Just because they own the Nats doesn't mean they are going to contend.

They were 14-3 against us last year and 70-74 against everyone else. They'll win about 80 games maybe.

What was our record?  Oh right.

this has nothing to do with us. I know we are freaking awful. but that doesn't make the Marlins good. They are going to win 80 games. The division will likely go to the Mets if I had to guess right now but the division as a whole is pretty freaking awful just like NOTLD and I predicted.

If it wasn't for Halladay, I would pick Greinke for AL Cy Young this year.  He is the real deal.

Meche has had some of the worst run support in baseball the past couple of years.  If he can get that this year, his numbers will be pretty good.

The Royals just about ruined the kid by bringing him up too soon.

True, but he is locked in now.  I don't expect much of a dropoff this year.

Philadelphia Phillies starter Cole Hamels has left the game in the top of the 4th inning after being hit in the left shoulder by a line drive off the bat of Prince Fielder.

Pujols just hit a Solo Shot off of Livan.

as do the Mets. NL East = worst division in baseball. the Nats are shameful for blowing this golden opportunity to compete.
