You hear that and you wonder if Dibble is hearing the same thing others have been saying privately for a couple of weeks now, that there are real doubts about whether Washington can reach an agreement with the guy widely regarded as the best pitching prospect ever.
Greed is a nasty animal to negotiate with
........and you're dealing with Boras. You don't give somebody the farm (money) when it is based on speculation of how they think their client (Strasburg) will perform in the Major Leagues -and end-up breaking the MLB draft ceiling, rules, and regulations
- just to obtain a projected "superstar".
