The best possible way for the Crow thing to play out is he gets draftdd by an AL team and becomes one of their best starters and we get a decent hitter with the 10a pick. Then in game seven of the world series our 10a pick hits a walk-off on Crow ruining his complete game and winning the Nationals a world series. Of course Strasburg would be pitching for us in this made up game 4 years from now.

Or Randy Hendricks dying of an incurable social disease.

What was he originally asking for last year? $9 million dollars or something?

I think so- I also think it broke down at 8 million or so. The O's won't give him that

Initially, yes.  I *believe* the negotiations ended with Crow wanting $4.4 and the Nats countering with $4.

I'm assuming that it would not be good for Crow to have quite a few college players step up and have great seasons because he would be sure to fall in the draft.
