Most of the sound for Guz when he came to the plate was the sound of people saying his name. None of our players has been mercilessly booed when they come to the plate the way you get in other cities. We've never heard anything like it. WMP probably got the worst we have seen.

Wrong. I know the difference between people being booed and people saying Guzzzz. In fact, it was discussed in our section. I remember telling some of the people sitting around me that although I wouldn't boo I understood why people did (I wound up going back on that and booed Wil Cordero). Also, my nephew used to go to most games with me and the first jersey he got when the NAts came here was Guzman's. The people in our section were killing him for wearing the jersey of the one that was being booed. He used to take a lot of heat for that.   Speaking of no one being booed, did you forget how badly Wil Cordero got booed at RFK? People were giving him the finger when walking back to the dugout after K's.

Milwaukee is choking. But that may make it even more excruciating for Mets fan tomorrow after giving them false hope.

Guz was definitely booed at times. He deserved it too.

Everyone got booed at times, and Guzzie certainly heard his share of boos following mistakes in the field and hitting into weak DPs. The announcers painted a picture of Guzman getting booed constantly when he went to the plate the way that you hear in Philly and NY when the fans decide that a specific player like Arod, Rollins, Delgado, or Burrell is in the doghouse. Our fans have not done that. The worst booing of a player not related to a specific play has been this year for WMP and Bergmann, and justifiably. But Guz in 2005 didn't come close to getting the treatment he would have received anywhere else.

 These announcers are such frauds. They applaud every little thing a Philly does. The ball finds it's way into Rollins glove and they ejaculate over how great he is.

Guzman smoked that one. Just bad luck.

We may be debating separate arguments. I thought this was about Guzman getting booed period not about what you wrote SSB. Maybe I didn't hear what the announcer said.

He was saying, a few years ago, Guzman was booed left and right and now hes bowed to or some crap like that.

Yes, I believe that is the case. I was reacting to the way that the announcers described it.

Well then I wasn't far off. He really was booed a lot but not like players get booed in Philly or NY. He just isn't getting booed now nor is he getting bowed down to.

another horrible AB. This is freaking garbage. Hit the ball the other way you idiots. They are jumping at the ball and pulling off it just like Moyer wants them to do.
