Lineups posted. Zim is back in action. Bernadina is getting another start in LF.

Best case scenario is that Lannan goes out and pitches a gem and then Shell or one of the other BP bums comes in and blows it in the late innings.

Your hatred for shell is really confusing to me. Hes the second best guy outta our pen, first Hinckley, him then Mock. Why would you hate one whos been solid?

I just don't think he's that good. Only time will tell.

We'll see how he does next year. The first several weeks he was here Manny used him in nothing but mop-up games. Since being thrown into close games he has been so-so, not great, not horrible. I'd take him over Colome, Speigner, and Manning for sure though.

Here we go. Let's hope it's not too embarrassing.

It's a big opportunity for Lannan to show the world how good he is on Nat'l TV.

Thats for sure, Scott Van Pelt, last night on sportscenter was saying moyer vs lannan today and was saying, The ever-age-lasting Moyer who has been blah blah blah... then John Lannan who has been very well for a very Bad team..

So i hope everyone else sees how money Lannan is

I hate facing Moyer. He always pwns us. We've seen him 100 times and every freaking time we chase the bullcrap he throws off the plate and hit little ground balls and pop ups.

It's sickening how biased this coverage is. It's like the Nationals don't even exist.

BS. How come they didn't let one of our players say our lineup like they did with the Phils and Jenkins?

Lannan's 24th birthday is TODAY. He was born September 27th, 1984 in Long Beach, NY. Of course the announcers don't say anything about it.

Mets held on to win 2-0. Puts more pressure on the Phillies and makes this a more meaningful game.

Predictable thus far. Can't wait until Lenny Harris is gone and we have a real hitting coach that can teach our hitters how to hit guys like Moyer.

Do you guys really believe all the stuff you're saying?
Are you watching? It's like the announcers' teeth have to be pulled whenever they say something about the Nationals.

They also just said Lannan turned 24 yesterday. Nope, his B-day is today you freaking morons.

damnit. Poor walk after having Burrell down 0-2 and then Victorino finds a hole in the infield.
