I can't wait to hear Zimmerman get ripped over that.

Manning replaces Lannan.
thom202 takes the fantasy lead 5-4-1, batting average.  We're tied on Runs, his strength.

Giles tripled to deep left center.Gonzalez singled to right, Giles scored.
Nice.  We've lost 96 games this season; we can lose tonight and tomorrow.

Nationals 0
PADRES 5

I can't wait to hear Zimmerman get ripped over that.
ZIMMERMAN COMMITS AN ERROR IN FRONT OF AIR ZIMMERMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't see it. What happened?

Oh, man this is sick. At least we know Manning won't be back here next year.

I remember when I was so eager for the season to begin. And then I recall how excited I was when it actually started. It's been weeks now that I've thought the season couldn't end soon enough.

While that may be true about Manning, the defense betrayed him this outing.

AZ's stadium debut was a disaster.

Are you going to the Skins game tomorrow, spidernat?

Should be a close game. I'm more nervous than I was for the Saints game. We can't defend tall, athletic receivers at all (See: Week 1 VS Burress) so I'm sure Fitzgerald and Boldin will terrorize our horrible CBs.

Arizona is very underrated in general. Their defense is very solid. Campbell is due for an interception too since he hasn't thrown any so far this season.

I think the Cards will pull of an upset, unfortunately. Hope not.

Acta's laid-back attitude rubs off on the team. He doesn't care about winning and thus they don't either. Acta is better suited to manage minor league players where development trumps winning ball games.

Except Manny doesn't develop players.  They make the same mistakes over and over.

Why did it take until mid-Sept for Odalis Dominican Republic to have an outstanding pitching start?  Randy Claire needs to go too.

Jason Bergmann in relief...

kimnat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He gets 3 outs on 5 pitches.

Yeah. Unfortunately I'm a little sick so I won't be drinking. Hopefully I'll be OK. Usually I'm so into the game that I don't feel the effects of being sick until after the game.

Seattle needs to suck it up and win a couple of games.  I want to see the Lerner/Boras drama next year

Now's the time to do it.

Next: 3 vs Marlins (who have our number) and 3 at Phillies.

thom202 is now up 6-4-0.  A few of my RPs could still play tonight, maybe lower my ERA & WHIP.

Perfect, Lannan gets 1 ER in 7 innings, and we still manage to lose. Win-win :D

Based on the seasons totals, I should be able to take R, SB, AVG, K, W, ERA, and WHIP. For the moment, I'm up 6-4-0; barely.

OT: Does anyone know the next time the Nationals come to Fenway? I'm definitely gonna be there, but I'm just wondering what year it is. Also what year the Skins come to Gillette, know they came recently (I like Pats more than the Skins, but I'll be happy if either wins).

Nats come to Fenway in 2012.

Damn... What's most likely is I'll go to a game next year in the summer at Citi Field against the Mutts.

I've been to one Nationals game, when they came here in 2006 I think.

freak, no games at Citi Field. But they do go to Yankee Stadium from the 16-18 of June, I'll check into that.

Lannan was 6-11 at the All Star break.  His teammates won't score runs when he plays.  (Some kind of a bet involving Redding.)  He doesn't get wins and is weak statistically too often.

BERGMANN gets 3 more out on 15 more pitches.
It's the kimnat Jay Bergmann tonight!!  :icon_mrgreen:

This is a candidate for most embarrassing loss. There have been more errors than have been ruled errors, not to mention lack of hitting and bad base running.
