sporstfan did you see the Sheffield/Carmona fight in the Tigers/Indians game?

Sheffield was in the wrong but it's refreshing to see a couple of guys get into it verbally and actually back it up by having a physical confrontation. Sheffield got his ass kicked.
Nah, I haven't seen it yet. Sheffield got his ass kicked by Carmona?

Nice inning by Speigner. 2-3-4 due up.

She doesn't know the first thing about football. It's clear that she just repeats jazz she hears and they always make fun of her about that. They've been poking fun at her lack of knowledge for a long time. She does post game interviews at games because I've seen her at the stadium asking players questions as they head to the locker rooms.

I figured that she was McGee's sister-in-law or something, because I've always had the same impression.  I don't think she's ever offered insight that wasn't already published before the game elsewhere.  Didn't she have the season-long best record last year for picking games?  I recognized her voice asking Coach Zorn a post-game interview question last week; the first time I ever saw or heard her anywhere else.

Holy cow!  Speigner is pitching!!  Puts them down fast!

This reminds me of what happened yesterday when my nephew took his Ryan Church autographed baseball to baseball practice. He said they used it for BP. tomterp would disapprove.

We're not even making solid contact. Both teams seem eagerly determined to lose this one.

She's on the field for every home game and at Redskins Park for weekly practices. She's awful but not quite as bad as Debbi Taylor and no where nearly as ugly but who is.

CARPENTER: "I've never seen Ryan Zimmerman pop up 6 times in one game before!"

That's because Zimmerman KNOWS that we need to get Stephen Strasburg on the mound for us with the #1 pick!

They are LOSING 2-0 in the 8th inning to Oakland, which has a lot worse batters.  They're near the bottom in all categories.

Wow, Sheffield is a moron. That HBP looked like it didn't even hurt.

Hilarious video from the other angle. You can see all the guys that didn't want any part of the rumble.

Milledge walked.
Dukes intentional walk.

This is so BOGUS.
Next up:
1) Hit by pitch to load them.
2) Walk the winning run in.

The Padres should be EXCOMMUNICATED!!!!!!!!!!

So is that considered an intentional walk to Dukes or just a BB?

Does this ump want the game to end or what? That 2-2 was way outside.

Frankly, Casto has looked freaking awful tonight. Worst he's looked all year. 1/7 with 4 Ks.

Every single one of the Ks has been on a breaking ball clearly in the dirt.

horrible. Speigner freaking blows. I admit I was wrong about that bum ass. He can pitch in the minors but he has looked like absolute crap up here.

Awful. Where is the dominant pitching that he had in AAA?

We are worse than the Padres. We should have won this game hours ago. Bunch of a-holes. We don't even deserve the #1 pick. Performances like this should never happen. Our hitters gave up after the 8th inning. They completely packed it in. Bernadina is the only one who actually tried.

Who cares? We get closer to the #1 pick :)

We will NEVER win as long as Manny Acta is the manager.

He's made several obvious blunders tonight and does so routinely every game.

Manny and Speigner should both take a freaking hike.

Where's Marco Estrada, Manny? Oh yeah, he hasn't pitched in 11 days. Makes a lot of freaking sense. Stupid jackass. Let's push our luck by leaving Speigner out for a second inning. brilliant you freaking idiot.
