Yep. I turned it off for a while and then I saw online that we scored a run so I flipped over and lo-and-behold Gonzalez gets thrown out at third.

yeah or when you know a plate is hot but you still touch it to see for yourself.  you know we're going to lose, but you still want to see it.

I ain't gonna lie, if there was a football game on I would not be watching the Nats. My brother called me and he said he left in the 3rd inning.
I don't blame him. Tomorrow's game will probably be worse since we will be lucky to score more than 1 or 2 runs. Redding will have to shut them out.  :?

What a lackluster end to the series. I had hopes of taking all 4 after the first two but now we'll have to settle for a measly split.

haha i'm sure running from 2b to 3b on a delayed steal is manny's fault, but i do agree that fundamentals at times this year have been lacking.

The worst part is that MANNY was the 3rd base coach for the Mets, and we STILL keep making IDIOTIC base running mistakes.

We MUST get SWEPT by the Padres this weekend.

Beltran homered to left center.  4th homer given up.  Nationals are working at giving up the most homers in all of baseball, after the All Star game.  We were 4th before tonight.  Pathetic.  Bye Mr. Claire.

We lost this game due to pure stupidity and ineptness. If we had cut out the mental mistakes we'd be right in this game and maybe even leading it.

Every pitcher we have put in the game tonight gave up at least 1 run. I doubt any of them will be here next season except for maybe Martis.

It's might be easier to say that if Martis had not pitched we'd be in this game.

The deficit should be no more than 2 runs.
