Not a top 5 QB
:couch:
Not last night. Not really at all this year. They have been doing it with the running game. He's getting old. Happens. Except to Marcia. Who obviously is on some kind of illegal substance which they cannot detect. Probably Ponce De Leon cream.

Huh?  Not really.  Even after last night, Brees has stellar numbers on the year.  The Saints have had a balanced attack this season.  You might be able to make the argument that he's just outside the top five because of a sudden surge at the QB position, but Brees isn't really having a dropoff.

Yards per game down about 50 and TDs are down. He's dinking and dunking more.

I'm also certain that the people making the argument for Cousins aren't doing it based on this year's performance alone but are including his last 2 seasons. But they want to overlook the body of work from other QB's over the last couple of seasons.

really? Nothing Cousins will ever do is going to come get him to Wilson in 2015, but I'd argue that he had the better season in 2016

YPG is still very good (top 5 in the league) and TDs are being picked up by the running game, so I don't really see the problem.

No problem. Until last night. They're just asking him to do less.

No need for actors. Eagles fans will be taking over the Coliseum tomorrow just as they took over the Chargers stadium earlier this year.

The Rams are for real.  Amazing performances by Goff and Guerley

Until Goff fumbled it.

Torn meniscus for Wentz I believe. My Iggles just can never catch a break.

Fun game. Eagles came up big in the end.  Schefter tweeted that the Eagles think Wentz tore his ACL.

Lucky that you have a seasoned veteran for a backup that could come in and win this game for them...

Yea. But he is not Wentz. Reading now they suspect a torn ACL. I hope it turns out like Bryce and not as bad as everyone initially thinks.

That's what I read on ESPN also. At this point it's just what they think but preparing for the worst.

They won but just too many passes called in the games. He will have to learn to protect his body better when he runs.

absolute shame if he's out for any length of time.  This seemed like a 'passing of the guard' year with the rise of Goff and Wentz (and maybe even Keenum).

preliminary tests show Wentz didn't have a full ACL tear, if that's the case, he won't be out long if at all.   He managed to run three plays including throwing a TD pass 'after' the injury.
