I love it that we're into their bullpen now.  Where's Kolb?

You know, Royce Clayton looks a lot younger than his 36 years.

We could really use a hit from Schneider here.

He's doing a good job fighting off these pitches.

Darn, oh well.  It was a good AB at least.

National League East watch:

Fish beat the Phils 4-3 at Citizen's Bank.

Mets and Padres are 0-0 in the bottom of the 3rd in San Diego.

How about letting Patterson get a complete game :?:   82 pitches.  The ump called a lot of strikes in last year's 2-hour-delayed April Shower game.

Ugh.  We'd have runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out, if...

Now, we'd have at least one more run, if...

Dammit, now we'd another run in.  And FR would be more inclined to let Patterson go for the CG.

You mean bases loaded with 1 out (or maybe 4-0 with 1 out)

Soriano demonstrated why stealing is mostly dumb.

He was already in scoring position, and Vidro/Johnson coming up.  Cost us a run and an out.

stealing second is good. Stealing third is not. Especially with your best hitters coming up. A single will score you from second or third, so it doesnt matter that much.

Stealing is fine, if you're up by five or six in the 9th.  Otherwise, this team, usually, doesn't have the offense to risk giving up outs.

Boo.  3-1 Braves.  A real mix-up there at first base cost us a run.
