They don't care about all that.         Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste they try to sell tickets to Caturday and all you get is a tee shirt.     "We won a series" will be all over town ....  buses, subway cars, billboards. newspapers, etc.

There are 45 starting outfield spots in the National League. How is best of 45 obscure?
I guess slicing the time frame that finely for a small sample and then citing it is a bit selective if it isn't obscure, but we do that all the time.  Yes, it is nice he's been good at getting on base while we've been winning. Top of the order stuff.  Hope he can keep it up.  He's capable of hanging in the .380 OBP ranging for long stretches.

They can beat whatever they want. One and done is not going to cut it. They need to advance to sell tickets. Barring a decent playoff run, I think tickets sales will go down. Maybe a big signing will offset that (says, Rendon or a big time FA) but fans are getting frustrated with the team falling short in the postseason.

They'll beat that drum to sell tickets all winter.

If they win the wildcard playoff do you think they will tout that as the first playoff series win in franchise history?

Heptahedron, specifically pentagonal prism. I looked it up.

I have two questions, first what are the physics involved in a ball crossing into the zone from the side- is it even possible for a pitcher to do it and, if so, do current umpires view the zone as a plain or in three dimensions- would the even call something cutting across the back of the zone a strike

Definitely, particularly pitchers with side arm or quarter arm slot motions will have balls that enter the back half of the zone. Sinkers will enter in the zone and drop out.

I don't believe that human umps are capable of calling a 3D zone with 90 MPH pitches with movement. Roboumps can't either but they'll get better fast.

Yes, they definitely will.
