Don't laugh now, but Cepicky is already outproducing Cordero.  A few more ribbies from the kid and FR is going to have another roster controversy on his hands.

They're LOADING THE BASES FOR GUILLEN....THAT MEANS SOMETHING.

That'll frustrate the hell out of Guillen.

Guillen has been unpatient at the plate lately that maybe explain it.......

Baerga is now 0 for 2 in his last two plate appearances when the bases were loaded.  A hit there would've turned this game into a laugher.  He and Cordero are morphing into a two-headed monster.

This is disappointing.  I thought the forum here was troll-proof.  We need to eradicate these vermin with extreme prejudice.

only reason we have trolls, is because registering is not mandatory, and people can post anonymously.

the Admin didn't want to exclude guests until we started getting more traffic, I guess.

but now, the website's been made public on the Children's forum, so I think now is an appropriate time to mandate registration.

Anyways.....

In game action, Drese has now given up 3 in the Fifth, and the Phils have another man in scoring position with two outs.

David Bell up.

Hey Kenza, Cepicky reminds me a little bit of Gregg Jefferies.

Carlos Baerga: Unlikeliest Hero of the Game?  Nice three-run bomb!  And barely outta there to boot.

Now c'mon, Ryan, get your act together and quiet the Phils down.  I really think Drese can be effective for us so long as he keeps his head together.  But it he doesn't, it's a disaster.  Sort of reminds me of Derek Lowe last year.

Hold the press!  Baerga redeems himself!!!  Just when it looked like the inning was going to collapse from questionable decisions, Carlos comes through!  What a lift!  Oh, the humanity!

The Guest option is still on, I'm sure the Chief will rectify things and. Until tonight, there were none...

Out goes Drese (the right call - though again I can't emphasize how much I want that kid to succeed in Washington) and in comes Eischen.  Am I wrong or is this only his third appearance since coming off the DL?  (I may have missed a day game appearance.)  He was quite sharp in the two other appearances I saw.

Well this is not an auspicious beginning.

Am I crazy to worry about our bullpen suddenly going soft?  The curse of a Nationals fan is the constant pit-of-your-stomach feeling that the bottom could fall out at any moment.
