...and we ought not to forget that one of Jayson Werth's grandfathers is Dick "Ducky" Schofield, a Pirates infielder too good to sit on the bench but not quite good enough to push Groat and Mazeroski out of the lineup.

(and boom! Tyler Moore!!)

Indeed. Bryce would probably have like 3 already. Hopefully this means he'll be readying to crush everything tomorrow.

After the fifth, I'd like to see Cory Brown and Sandy Leon inserted. Maybe even Eury Perez.

I was just thinking that I like this team more than any team since the 1960 team...which was not near this good, but was dramatically better than the previous five or six teams.

I'd wait until the 7th.

That's two innings for Werth/Morse/someone else to slip and fall or something else stupid

Also gives us a chance to showcase Brown. Maybe get something for him this offseason.

Rockies lead 2 - 0 on 3 hits to Atlanta's 6. Weird.

About seven pitchers and six pinch hitters. (It feels like it, anyway)

Pimped it a little. Trouble in the Country. This should be his new walk-up music.

Probably a plant by Putin

Note: latest news from the Kremlin: Vladimir Putin when asked his opinion of the Strassburg shutdown, said "Let him pitch. If Rizzo comes to Russia, we will have heart-to-heart talk..."
