for those of you with access to the Paladia channel, they are running a couple of really great shows this month:

- a retrospective of the Who's Quadrophenia complete with footage of Keith Moon passing out in the middle of their first show of the tour and being replaced with an audience member.

-  a bio of Jeff Lynne, including some of his many collaborations with the guys who made up the Traveling Wilburys.  The highlight for me was when they discussed out the surviving Beatles brought him in to work on an an unfinished John Lennon track.  He got to sit in a room with McCartney, Harrison, and Starr and listen to them tell Beatles stories (it was the first time in years the three of them had gotten together).

Heart was awesome, kravitz too. Kid rock should never be allowed to play a zep song again.   Both Jason bonham and Robert plant were crying at the end of stairway.

One of my all-time favorite songs. I love the unplugged version even more. Layne Staley was awesome.

Indeed. Perhaps the Jim Morrison of the 90s. Loved Alice in Chains and the Unplugged album is incredible.

I can't really see any more credible candidate for the 90s Jim Morrison award than Kurt Cobain.

As what? Overrated? It's taken me nearly 20 years to be able to tollerate Nirvana, but in my mind, they were out classed by Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam. Down in a Hole, Rooster, Angry Chair, Got Me Wrong, Would? I'll take that any day over Nirvana.
