Bonds = *?...Aaron = *?...Ripken = *?...we'll never know probably. Doesn't really matter in the end, though. Just baseball. Great GAME.

EVERY RECORD IS MORE IMPRESSIVE!

I can think of a record less impressive: Mike Bacsik's record of serving up the juiced jack. I'm so embarrassed and outraged that we were the ones that got victimized.

Seriously though, Bascik might as well retire and find a day job...  at this stage in his career, there is nothing he could ever do to change the fact that he will now ALWAYS be remembered as nothing more than the guy who gave up #756.

Shake it off Mike - just win this game Nats - good thing is 75% of the fans will leave now and we get to play baseball in peace to pretty much an empty house the next two days

It'll almost feel like a home game now. :)

Bacsik is terrible.. If this start doesn't convince JB and Manny to send down Bacsik pronto I don't know what will.  If Manny defends Mike in the post game interviews I will go ballistic.

Who wants to bet ESPN spends the rest of the series ripping on us and how much we must suck since we gave it up?

Nobody's going to care about that at all - particuluarly with all the controversy about bonds - I wouldn't even have remembered downey's name if barry hadn't been chasing the record ... I'm just glad it's over

If we keep playing like **** then they have every right to rip on us.  If the Nats want to show people that they are legit then they need to at the very least split the series. Right now it looks as though we could get swept which combined with giving up Barry's HR is a complete disaster.

Espn and all the idiots over there have been trashing the Nats all year - why would this be any different

I bet you that Bonds doesn't play at all this year after that HR...

He's going to be indicted for perjury soon.

Point is, we'll never know. Many people say Brian friggin Roberts did roids. Supposedly they were w/ the O's (and all other teams, for that matter) for a long while.

The HR pisses me off but I'm more upset that Bacsik has given up 5 runs in 5 innings.  smfh, Bonds is such a selfish dick
