The Jays look stacked.  Good for them for going for it this year.

I understand what the Mets are doing - it would have been difficult for them to beat the Nats and Braves this year and probably next year, too.  Selling off Dickey to the highest bidder makes sense for them as well.

The Rays-Royals trade looks to be comparable to this trade as well.  I'll be rooting for both the Jays and the Royals for being ballsy enough to try to win sooner rather than later.

When you can get two top prospects for a 38-year-old knuckleballer, you have to do it.
