yes, we have a problem.  No one is using a distorted photo designed to make a person's head look like a penis as an avatar bet payoff.  Sorry.  I've tried to be nice about it, but we think the distorted head is gross and could be seen as racist.

Damn, I thought his head looked like a mushroom.    Must be a generational thing.

which mod had a problem?

MDS and I had a conversation about posts, specifically photos, that could get the board in trouble on Monday.  Like I told you in a PM.

I had been on good behavior and had not deleted a post in two or three weeks.  I hate even looking at this thread because the skins are more or less a nothing to me.  I don't wish them bad results or luck, because I have friends who follow them, but I don't have anything to say about them.

Dear Aaron Rodgers,

Sometimes when NFL players make friendly wagers with people ... and lose ... they actually pay up ... and that's exactly why we're posting this photo of a Washington Redskins player wearing wrestling panties.

The greased up brute pictured above is star defensive end Adam Carriker -- who was recently placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in Week 2.

Carriker, an avid wrestling fan who also hosts the 4th & Pain radio show, recently made a bet with ex-WWE superstar Bill Goldberg about the Wash. vs. ATL matchup this past weekend.

If Washington won, Goldberg (an avid Falcons fan) agreed to sport a Redskins jersey ... and if ATL won, Carriker said he'd dress up as Goldberg in his wrestling prime ... speedo and all.

Obviously, the Falcons won -- and Carriker, BEING A MAN, paid off his bet ... unlike some other high-profile, yellow-bellied, jersey-dodging people we know.

Just thought you should know.

XOXO,

TMZ

Carriker is great- I've listened to his show in the morning- easily an upgrade over LaVar when his playing days are over

Last weekend's game has been overshadowed by the Nats but after watching the game at home a couple of times they blocked well for the running game (Morris looks really good). The WR's were really impressive blocking for the ground game. Too bad they struggle hanging on to the ball.  :?  Griffin was not very good this last game and I don't understand why they still don't run even a semblance of a downfield mid range passing game. Yet, they seemed to have called plays that focused on precisely that when Cousins was in the game. Maybe the game situation dictated that. Defensively, the pass rush is non existent. Richard Crawford cannot play, at least not at this point in his career. He reminds me of UMD product Kevin Barnes.

that's been the problem the whole time they've had the 3-4 in place, even with Kerrigan and Orakpo healthy. Too bad Jenkins isn't looking like the superman he was portrayed as when he got injured last summer

That's very true. And although I'm not a huge Orakpo fanboi, I recognize that he's a good player and they miss his presence. I laughed at the announcers on Fox comparing Orakpo with Demarcus Ware.  :lmao:  They may be in the same division but they aren't really in the same league. One of the idiots also said D'angelo Hall and Tony Gonzalez used to be teammates.  :?  Hopefully Jenkins just hasn't hit his stride after the injury. It took Carriker over a year to show that he was starting to come back strong. Too bad he got injured again because he was looking much better this season. Also, losing him means we have to rely on Golston a lot more and it's noticeable that he enters the game there is a significant downgrade at the DL position.

The safety position makes me want to puke.

the sad thing is, when I think about all of the defensive units, the only one I'm comfortable with is the OLBs- every other position needs to be upgraded or shored up in the next few years
