The upper deck actually has more people in it, I suppose.

You know, that's a very handsome baseball stadium you guys have. I do like it.

day game in the rain with a pitcher noone cares about against a team as bad as us

I'm really hoping Scott Olsen will come around eventually. I have more faith in that happening for him than I do for Cabrera.

Haha, cool to see Ivan Rodriguez again.

The Astros announcer claims our starting rotation has a 3.35 ERA over the last seven starts.

At least olsen has been proven to be an ml quality pitcher at one point.

haha I think everyone here should have more faith in Olsen in Cabrera.  Olsen has been pretty darn good actually in his last few starts.  (freak gives up a double)

Haha, the Astros just wished a happy birthday to some Astros player, columnist George Will, Audrey Hepburn, and "the famous 17th century Italian piano maker Bartolomeo Di[something or other]"... random.

olsen you gotta bury that pitch in the dirt, can't leave it up as high as you did.

He's a MUCH better pitcher than Cabrera.

Gametracker at work, but have lots of real work to do. Ugh. Emailed fiance to set up the Tivo, as I forgot.

I love day games when I can take a day off of work, but couldn't swing it today.

How great would it be if Zimmermann ends up being our version of Oswalt?

our bats are off to a slow start again.  problem is i don't see us getting a 9 run rally with oswalt on the mound.

Interesting conversation in the booth about balls.  Rated high on the unintentional comedy scale.

To recap:
- Dibs didn't like big balls, he like the small ones so he could grip them tighter.
- He was a ball crusher.
- The umps rubbed them down before the games.

A lot of teams get off to slow starts vs. Oswalt.  But unlike last night we're nto able to get deep into counts and get guys on base, at least not yet.  If we get an opportunity, we need to take advantage or hope he only goes 6 innings.

Wow, as much as I'm enjoying the Astros announcers, that sounds hilarious.

That was such a stupid bunt attempt! He started running before the pitch even got there.

wow wil nieves sucks.  who?  wil nieves!

honestly how the hell is he on the team?  bring back josh bard please right now.  sf, you can't defend nieves whatsoever, he's 1-for-11 and has had some embarrassing at bats.
