Nothing but one of the Dodger relievers plunked Milledge with a high up and in fastball earlier in the game. And then the catcher (Ardoin) and Milledge got into it a little bit verbally. You could clearly hear Milledge shout several curse words. He was pissed. I just thought it'd be only fair to plunk one of their guys and Kent seemed like a good one to hit because he's an *******.

Ah I missed that, game's on but I wasn't watching between the 4th and the 7th

Shell is quietly ascending the VORP ranks, he's having a very nice season.  I hope he's one of the surprise guests at tomorrow night's bloggers' event.

Milledge has greatly improved his VORP in the last month as well.  He was in the Felipe Lopez negative zone for most of the season, but is now 3rd on the team.

Yes, get these young guys who we're trying to straighten out involved in a brawl. FANTASTIC idea.

THE CYCLE for GUZMAN!  AMAZING! One of the most beautiful things in this sport.

This has been one of the most entertaining ballgames the Nationals have played in this season, if for no other reason than the fact that they have dominated the Dodgers.

Any bets on whether his cycle will make BBTN vs being ignored because we're the Nats?

No brawl. Just plunk Kent or whomever. Then the umpire would issue a warning and it'd all be over.

What's up with all the talk of plunking batters? It seems like our fanbase is always whining about this when one of our players get hit. It's part of the game to get hit from time to time, especially if you dive into the plate.

Zim with a 3-hit Game!!

This game has been a joy! This entire series has, matter of fact.

This team is so funny. Either the games are complete snorers or they are exhilarating and exciting.

I don't really understand this either.  It is one thing if their is a history between a batter and a pitcher (or maybe a team), but I think Milledge was just plunked by some guy that doesn't have complete control of his pitches.  What would plunking him accomplish?  About as much as keeping Pete Orr on this team next year.

Well, it's also part of the game to get even. freak the Dodgers! I don't know if we should do it now though because one of our pitchers might get suspended because it would be too obvious. Although if it's Colome I don't know if that's a bad thing.
