Check this trade rumor out.

Manny being high on Milledge means nothing, after all, Manny was high of Nook Logan even before spring training started.

I'd definitely do the deal. Milledge has as much potential as Zimmerman. We need the speed, the fielding, AND the hitting.

I'd do the deal too, but only for either Cordero or Rauch, not both.

Does it make a difference when they score their runs if they still end up losing?

Schroder deserves some props for this game. 3 innings, 1 hit, 3 Ks = not too shabby.

With Milledge brought up again, I sure wish the Mets would of taken that deal that was mentioned earlier in the year, Patterson for Milledge. Obviously they turned it down quick though, otherwise we would of had another steal..

Wow, you must have been captain of your debating team with a comeback like that... I will repeat for the illiterate. Does it make a difference when they score their runs if they still end up losing?

Of course Schneider grounds into a DP.  Flores better get the start on July 4th.  He needs to start at least twice a week for the rest of the season to gain even more experience.  Anyways, another embarrassing loss for the Nats.  We'll get 'em tomorrow... Oh, nevermind, no we won't.  Carlos Zambrano VS a Career Minor leaguer making his first start of the season.

I'd love to see Flores start more often too. If this is an experimental year like they keep reminding everyone, then Flores should be given about a third or so of the starts.

Tim Redding, called up from AAA.  Wasn't he out injured before?  Hanrahan and another starter were both on the DL, which resulted in Mike Bacsik being brought up earlier.

Tim Redding,
trick ball artist

Well, his 2003 was pretty good:

10-14 with a 3.68 ERA in 33 games (32 starts)

Hanrahan and Fruto were on the DL at the same time. Both went on when they were pitching very well. That is if you don't count Fruto's walks per innings pitched

Lilly pitched a great game, Aramis had some big hits, so perfect day for my fantasy team, scoring 50+.  Well, now that Lilly won't be facing the Nats, I can cheer on the Nats offense without that fantasy baseball voice in my head ;)
