I love the curly W but the block white W is bad ass.

Agreed. I like the the Block W they used last year also. The red on blue I believe?

Yup.  I actually bought two of those hats last year.  Totally going to get a second white W once they go up for sale on the MLB page.

Awesome! I love those hats. I have a Blue Curly W hat... Batting Practice hat? It's a flex fit but it's snug on me. Hurts my temples.

I think I sent Galah about the quality on those last year when I was looking to get the white W version he's got and he said the American Needles were nice.  I'm super happy about the authentic I got yesterday but the two blue ones he has are bad ass.

The original 1924 uniforms didn't have players' names on the back, did they?

I don't see numbers on the back of the 1924 uniforms either...

picked them up off MLB this spring, as MDS says, the quqlity is very good and they are all fitted hats, so helps to know your hat size.
I confess, the white hat hasn't seen a winning game yet, this will be it's 5th attempt this year....I'm hoping to change it's luck, if not....send me an address, I'll forward it to you :-)

The nice thing about the hats that Galah has is that they're a low crown cap and not the tall boy that MLB on-field hats tend to be.  I'm not a big fan of the fit of the American Needle hats but the quality is really good and they're usually a good $10 cheaper than the New Era authentics.  I've got two (for the 1961 and 1971 red curly W caps) and they're super comfy and look really sharp.

For those of you going tonight - anyone that can pickup one of those 1924 score cards gets Hard Times nachos from me if you can pick one up for me.

Numbers did not become mandatory in MLB until 1932.

So they're not true throwback uniforms.  They're F A K E.

Why not put a picture of Mark Lerner on each sleeve, if it's not going to be authentic, as to what was worn in the 1924 World Series?

False.  Interlocking DC > anything.  :whip:

I'm more of a fan of the Curly W.

Where can one get an American-Needle low crown high quality cap?

It being based on the 1924 hats didn't give that away?

No sh*t Sherlock.   Didja think I was born yesterday ya moron?

They still look like a crappy little league team hat.
