We were talking about the 2007 NL playoffs, I sure there were other sweeps in NLCS example 1982 Stl over Atl 3-0

My bad.

What was the 3rd base coach thinking.  :lmao:

thank god for the pitcher running. terrible job by the defense on the pop up and then Mock for rolling over afterward instead of buckling down and getting the last out.

Not really, no.  Some people here might have had hallucinations to that effect, but I don't think anyone with an ounce of objective observation skills ever thought those guys were anything of the future, except maybe assistant managers at Value City.

The first ever NLCS 1969 Mets sweep Braves 3-0 and Os sweep
Twins 3-0 in ALCS same year

In SF's mind, it's never a strike when Zimmerman is at the plate, even when he swings and misses.

I remember back in '05 when our top prospects were Kory Casto (in AAA doing mediocre; no power), Larry Broadway (in AAA doing crappy; no power), Clint Everts (finally putting it together, but as a reliever; will likely get call-up in Sept), Mike Hinckley (in AAA doing okay).
