This has to be some sort  of ignominious record for starting pitchers!

welcome Zimmerman11!  Looks like Patterson's OUT of the game.  I don't think it's a mystery that he wasn't feeling well.  Just look at his performance in the first inning :?

Well, the only good part of this is that, today, it doesn't matter if you burn through your bullpen.

Oh ok, because I live on Long Island, and all I have to see the Nationals games is MLB gameday, so when it said Bray replaced Patterson I had no idea what was going on. Thanks

3-1 Nats.  Clayton really can't hit

Clayton's raised his BA to .270 from the early season .220; someone probably told him that Guzman's BA was NOT part of his Job Description.

Patterson is dirt cheap but he's becoming a classic case of someone who is unreliable due to injuries.

Charlie and Dave's Radio broadcast now has their kid co-host contest winner on the air!
Aaron King's favorite player = Ryan Zimmerman.

the kid doing the play-by-play thing is a cute idea...but I find it extremely annoying for some reason.

Our starting has been bad, but our bullpen has been magnificent since that 18 inning game. Our bullpen has pitched 20 consecutive scoreless innings (including today).

Kid's Run the Show co-host Victoria Lipman (?), another Zim fan (and Livan), agrees that we need a good pitcher, if Soriano is traded.
Dave Jagler keeps trying to get them to tell people to mute the TV and play their radio broadcasts.

Patterson's forearm hurts so much he's expected to get a cortisone shot.
Sounds like tendinitis - bad cases can take even a year to heal.

I'm here a little late, I see that JPatt sucked again today. Great. Just what we need, 8 innings from our BP.
