I bleepin hate Tony Armas.
At least he wont be around next season, unless the Nats change their mind about moving towards youth and pitching. Armas is a thrower, always has been. He's not worth show sole scrapings.
we said that last year.
but since Bowden doesn't have a clue how to acquire and keep quality pitching, we were forced to bring him back.
meh.
hopefully he's gone for real this time, next season.
I don't blame Bowden for the $20 MLB and Selig gave him for free agency.
i didn't say anything about free agency. Bowden is terrible with managing pitching personnel, in general. he was in Cincinnatti, and he's the same way here. if there is any fault that Bowden has(besides being a self-important glory hound), it is that.
but this isn't really the thread to talk about it, anyway, so let's not open that can of worms.
let's stick to the game.
