Pic #1 is my back patio. It sits about 3 feet off the ground so the 12-18 inches of snow that rise above that equals 48+ inch snow bank.
Pic #2 is my front walk. You'll note the 3+ foot snow banks that bracket the walkway that the kids will use to catch the bus tomorrow.
Pic #3 is my eight y.o. son Everett (blue911 knows him as "Gustavo") who is 52 inches tall for reference. That's a 6+ foot snow bank behind him that's comprised of snow from the plowed street as well as my SHOVELED driveway.
Pic#4 is Everett in front of a snow bank from the shoveling of my lower patio. This would normally be a good shot of my back yard, but it looks like poor Everett will be waiting until July to play outdoors when that 4+ foot snow bank is finally gone.
Pic #5 is the swingset Everett and his brother and sister will play on in July when all this snow finally melts.
Pic #6 is the family van that my wife drives - that was before I shoveled the lower patio this morning. She's on a retreat in North Carolina right now (for school) so I figured I have some time before I have to dig her out.
They're now talking about more snow on Saturday and then a potential coastal storm on Tuesday.
