excellent

Is Ken Macha in danger of being fired? (Image removed from quote.)

Yes, being down 2-0 in a series to the Nationals is grounds for immediate dismissal.

I'm going to lose the YNOT. When I guesstimated our runs scored total, I banked on the Nationals scoring a total of 5 in these first two games put together - and actually we've scored 22.

Didn't the Nats get a manager or two fired last year?

"Been sleepless nights for a lot of people in the Brewers organization." Losing to the Nationals IS an embarrassment to these guys.

looks like you will get your wish. I wouldn't be surprised if the only guy we traded was Beimel.

Sounds like Dunn is not that terrible at 1B based on the balls he's picking out of the dirt from how Slowes and Jageler are calling the game.

He picks well. Been doing it all year. He doesn't field grounders at the level of Nick, but both Dunn and DY are better at picking than Nick.

Beimel and NJ should go for whatever we can get. Then re-sign NJ.

Seattle and he was replaced with Jim Riggleman.

got to find someone to replace rubber armed Tavarez, maybe he can?

Late to the party tonight, but I don't care what Kensing's arm is made of, he cannot replace Julian :(

QFT.  We've seen him as a reliever and he couldn't cut it.

See, I can agree with SF, he's not always spouting crap

Yea, I think that too. He showed some potential last year but who knows. Lets trade him or something. We can trick someone into looking to much into his AAA stats :P

Beimel and Harris are the most likely to be traded and are most likely to be all that's traded. With the recent moves for LaRoche and Garko, it appears NJ is not going at this point. I wouldn't rule out a Balester trade though. I like Balester, but given that we only have so many legit chips to deal for quality, if a young promising arm is actually dealt, I would suspect Rizzo would be more willing to part with Balester. Rizzo has a proclivity for ground ball pitchers (not a bad thing), but I have a feeling he has such a proclivity that he would be willing to deal a talented young arm to someone who didn't share the same obsession.

Why would he take Hoffman out with 2 outs in the 9th of a six run game?
